The Safe Room

The Safe Room is the latest cafe to hit the UNESCO heritage city of Georgetown. Once, a proud goldsmith shop a century ago, The Safe Room is artistically renovated since 2013 to bring back the glorious past of the goldsmith into a contemporary dessert cafe & bar. Offering state of the art dessert such as the nitrogen ice cream, specially brewed coffee, cakes, waffles & smoothies, the Safe Room strive to provide only the highest quality dessert and drink to the most demanding food critics... our fellow Penangites. Created for the Penangites by true Penangites, we in the Safe Room invite you all to visit our cafe and give us a try!
