We met the owner, Lois, for an interview recently. He began by telling us about how he wanted to open a cafe, by reconsider about the multitude of themed cafes in Penang, he decided to go with an European style restaurant in order to differentiate itself from others. So it was on the 28th of September 2014 that Paul Loiis first opened its doors.

Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner

Stepping into the white, airy building, Paul Loiis gives off a classic yet modern vibe. They serve healthy European meals that are baked instead of fried and MSG-free. Everything is freshly made, even their mash potatoes and sauces. Recommended dishes are such as Germanizer, Spaghetti Pesto, and Fruit Salsa Fish. Different menu serve at different times of the day - menu for breakfast and lunch, while another for dinner. Therefore, one can visit at different times to try out the different variety of foods.

As for drinks, you can try out their home-brewed coffee and also secret recipes fresh juices if coffee isn’t your favor.  

There is even a magic show every Friday from night 8:30pm-10:00pm!

Breakfast is served from 8:30am-4:30pm, and dinner is served from 6:00pm onwards. The coffee bar and pastry is available all day long.

到访过Paul Loiis 的朋友们，是否有想过此家餐馆起初的原貌是一家咖啡厅呢？

受访人Lois 表示起初的想法是要经营一间café，经过仔细思量似乎有点过于单调，皆因槟城已有大小不一，各有主题的咖啡厅，跟风开办的话，恐怕会失去一定的意义。
所以一念之间，就把原有的概念转换成欧美式的餐馆。
这里环境的设计偏于优雅的欧美风格，但又不失现代的创新和舒适. 


这里主打的菜色都是偏向于欧洲风格，没有煎炸，没MSG ，都是老板亲自研发，像mash potato 和 sauce 是自己研制出来，不含防腐剂，保证新鲜！推荐的食物分别有早午餐的Germanizer ，Spaghetti  Pesto 还有晚餐的Fruit Salsa Fish 。

早、午、晚餐都有自己主打的菜色是希望让不同时段到访的顾客都能尝试不同的特点啦。

至于饮料，尤其是咖啡，也是自己动手炮制，果汁呢则是自身研发并采用了新鲜的原料搅和而成。

更特别的是，每个星期五还有魔术表演 呢！

Paul Loiis  提供早餐，午餐及晚餐。
早餐供应时间从早上8:30 至下午4:30
晚餐则从 6:00 旁晚起，至于coffee and pastry 就不限时，每个时段都有供应。
